Inner Conquest of Hazor
Joshua 11:10-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joshua conquers Hazor, defeats its king, and destroys the cities as commanded. This shows a decisive action carried out under divine instruction.
Neville's Inner Vision
Hazor is the central belief within you that still claims authority—the head of all inner kingdoms. To take Hazor is to decide that this pattern no longer rules your experience and to turn your gaze to the I AM that animates you. When the king is smitten with the sword, you enforce a new self-conception, severing allegiance to the old story. The fire that destroys is the cleansing light of awareness burning away memories and fears that fed that kingdom. The cities and kings you destroy are scattered thoughts and habits you no longer tolerate, replaced by the living order of your true self. Obedience to Moses, the servant of the LORD, becomes obedience to your inner law—the divine directive that dwells within you as I AM. As you align with that law, the old kingdoms vanish and the inner map reorganizes around the kingdom that cannot fade: your constant awareness of being.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, I AM the ruler here. Visualize Hazor dissolving into light and the old pattern melting away, leaving the inner kingdom you now call home.
