Within Joshua’s story the 'man' is your inner state, the decree you accept as true. When you persist in that state as if the deed is already done, God—the I AM within you—takes up the cause and moves the outer world to reflect the inner certainty. The day when there is no day like it marks the instant you refuse to doubt, you hear the inner voice and let it govern time itself. Your petitions become a command; the LORD fought for Israel is the inner forces aligning to fulfill your need, not by luck but by your faithful assumption. Each moment you can heed this: dwell in the feeling that your desired outcome already exists in the I AM and let that reality harden into your present.
