Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God speaks to Joshua after Moses’ death, commissioning him to lead the people into the land he promised, while urging courage, obedience to the Law, and reliance on God's constant presence.
Neville's Inner Vision
Joshua embodies the awakening of your present consciousness after an old state dies. Moses’ death signals letting go of former assumptions; the Jordan is the inner crossing from doubt to conviction. The land represents your inner kingdom of creation, extended to the breadth of your awareness—every place your foot would tread is the space you have already confirmed as real by your inner stance. God’s promise to be with Joshua mirrors the I AM that never abandons the movement of your day. The command to be strong and very courageous invites you to inhabit the feeling that your desires are already established, not to strive from fear. The law Moses gave is your inner principle: keep it in your mouth and in your meditation, for through consistent attention you align action with inner truth. As you maintain fidelity to this Law, prosperity and rightful outcomes follow, for your inner world has become your outer world.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already living in the promised land; speak and think from that state. Close your eyes, feel the ground of your inner realm beneath your feet, and proceed as the one who is already there.
