Honoring the Father Within
John 8:48-50 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Jews accuse Jesus of being Samaritan and demon-possessed; Jesus denies the charge, stating he honors his Father and that the accusers dishonor him. He also says he seeks not his own glory, for there is one who seeks and judges.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe the scene as a drama of inner states. The Jews are the old mind accusing and measuring, the devil is the symbol of separation from the I AM. Jesus embodies the state that honors the Father, an inner alignment that does not seek its own glory but trusts a higher authority that seeks and judges. The claim I honor my Father is the practical assertion that the I AM within you is supreme, and the external verdicts are reflections of your current state. When you assume the feeling I honor the Father within me, you dissolve the sense of being judged by others and permit the inner law to operate through you. The glory you seek is not external validation but harmony with the divine presence. The one who seeks and judges is your higher self, the inner governor of your reality. By persisting in this state, feeling it and revising any contrary belief, you awaken the inner Father and align your life with its purpose.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling that you honor the Father within you and revise any belief of separation. Close your eyes, breathe, and allow this inner alignment to feel real, letting external judgments melt away in the glow of that consciousness.
