Seeing the Inner Christ
John 7:41 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text records a split: some proclaim Jesus as the Christ, while others doubt whether the Christ could come from Galilee. It highlights how outward signs and origins influence belief, while the true identity remains an inner verdict of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse 41 exposes the mind’s habit of judging the Christ by birthplace and rumor. Some declare, 'This is the Christ,' while others question whether the Christ could come from Galilee. Yet the Christ is not a man from a region but the living I AM—the inner state of consciousness you are, here and now. The argument arises from the old habit of identifying with outward signs; you can revise it by assuming the end: Christ is realized within this moment. When you dwell in that assumption, Galilee—the external labels—drops its claim and the inner Kingdom reveals itself. The prophecy and the promise are fulfilled in present awareness, not in ancient geography. Trust that your true nature is the Christ in consciousness; doubt is but memory dissolving in light. So align yourself with the inner Christ rather than the outward debate, and you enact the Kingdom within.
Practice This Now
Assume the end: 'I am the Christ now,' feel it real, and let the Galilee of outward labels dissolve into your present awareness.
