A Little While With Spirit

John 7:33 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 7 in context

Scripture Focus

33Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
John 7:33

Biblical Context

Jesus says his time with them is short and then he goes to the Father who sent him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Reframed in the inner sense, this line is not about geography but about states of consciousness. The ‘little while’ Jesus speaks of is the momentary identification with a certain level of awareness, a particular dream-state you are wearing. The remark that he goes to him that sent him points you to the source of that consciousness—the I AM behind every thought and feeling. When you feel the words, you realize 'with you' is your present occupancy of a higher state, and 'going to the sender' is the natural returning of that state to its origin. The Father, the one who sent him, is the undivided awareness you are always, but you have forgotten when you slip into appearances. The teaching invites you to dwell in the realization that the I AM is the source of every presence; your imagined separation is the illusion, and the act of 'going' is the moment of revision where you reset your identification with the Source. As you rest in that inner reality, all outward tumult quiets, because you are simply awake to your own sending.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the state that you are always 'with' the sender. Feel the inner presence as a quiet I AM and let this revision sink into your nervous system.
