Temple Truth and Inner Will
John 7:14-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus teaches in the temple and says his doctrine comes from the Father. The crowd marvels and is challenged to do the will, for true knowledge comes from obedience rather than learned cleverness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the temple of your I AM, the scene mirrors the mind's longing for status and proof. Jesus proclaims that his doctrine is not his own but the One who sent him—your inner voice clothed in authority, the Father within. When you align with this sent voice, you will know whether what you hear is truly from God, because knowing is a function of obedience, not cleverness. The man who speaks for himself seeks his own glory; the one who seeks the glory of the One who sent him speaks truth without resistance. The reference to Moses and the law becomes a reminder that the inner law is already written in your being, though many ignore it by clinging to appearances. The one work Jesus did points to a single act: surrender to the inner decree. Your own proof will not come from outside observers, but from the inward transformation you experience as you live from the I AM, and faith becomes sight as you move in harmony with the sent life within you.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the inner voice speaking as the sent one within you. Assume its decree in a small daily action and feel it real until your next choice mirrors that voice.
