Biblical Context
In John 7:14-18 Jesus teaches in the temple; the crowd questions how he knows so much without schooling, and he says the doctrine comes from the Father and is known by those who will do God's will.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the temple as your own mind and the gathered crowd as the doubts that crowd awareness. Jesus is the I AM within speaking from the Source that sent him, not from human learning. The marvel of the crowd mirrors your habit of judging truth by outward credential; your true education occurs the moment you align with the will that sent you. The doctrine is a living Principle that flows into your conscious state when you consent to that desire and act upon it. When you choose to do God's will, you will know the doctrine’s origin—whether it is God’s or a voice of self. Remember the warning: he who speaks for himself seeks his own glory; he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him speaks truth, and there is no unrighteousness in him. So, discernment arises from alignment, not from books, and integrity flows where will and Source are one.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am taught by the Father within me; my understanding is His doctrine, arising as I align with His will.' Then imagine entering the temple of your mind and hearing that inner voice confirm what you need to know today.
