Inner Search at the Feast

John 7:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 7 in context

Scripture Focus

11Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
John 7:11

Biblical Context

At the feast, the Jews search for Jesus and ask where he is. This mirrors the mind's outward seeking for presence, while the true I AM dwells within.

Neville's Inner Vision

I see that John 7:11 is the record of the outward crowd seeking a man at a festival. The Jews are not stepping into the inward recognition that presence is not elsewhere but within; the feast is your arena of awareness. When they cry Where is he you hear the old state that God is distant and absent, that truth must come from some future event. Yet consciousness is the only actor; I am the one who looks, and creation responds to my inner state. Therefore I revise: I am the Presence; I am here; I am now. Let the feeling of the I AM saturate the body, as if Jesus awakens in the membrane of your own mind. The outward search dissolves when the inner assumption asserts itself; presence is not found, it is recognized. Sit in that felt certainty, and the scene of the feast becomes the theater in which you realize the inner Christ.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, revise the moment by saying I am the Presence here and now. Feel that certainty as a living reality in your chest for several minutes, letting distance dissolve.
