Jesus explains that people come to him only as the Father draws them, and that belief in him grants everlasting life.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, John 6:43-47 reveals that coming to Christ is a function of your inner state, not a distant act. The Father is the I AM within you, the draw that shifts consciousness toward its true self. Murmuring or doubt belongs to the old sense of self; when you consent to the inner drawing, belief in me becomes trust in your own divine nature, and everlasting life is the present experience of awakened awareness. The prophets’ line that we shall be taught of God becomes your daily schooling—silence, listening, and acceptance of the inner revelation rather than outward proofs. Not seeing the Father externally signifies that true seeing occurs within, for he who is of God has already perceived the Father by recognizing the I AM behind every thought. Therefore, to believe in me is to live from your inner source now; the 'last day' is not a future moment but the continuous realization that life is God expressing as you. Resurrection is a change of state—from fear to faith in your inseparable union with the I AM—while grace and favor unfold as your natural condition.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: in a quiet moment, declare, 'I am drawn by the Father now,' and feel the life of God flowing through you as present, continuous life.
