Moses Wrote of the Son Within

John 5:46 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 5 in context

Scripture Focus

46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
John 5:46

Biblical Context

Jesus says Moses wrote of the Christ. To believe Moses is to believe the inner Son within you.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, the verse is not a rebuke but a door. Moses, the letter of the law, is a herald of the same one I am now aware as the Christ within you. If you believed Moses, you would believe the Son, for Moses wrote of the living I AM that you are in this very moment. The inner Christ is not distant; it dwells within the field of your awareness. Every commandment, every prophecy, points to the consciousness you are choosing right now. The stone tablets of history dissolve when you realize the I AM reading them is the same I AM dwelling in you. Your faith is not in an external figure but in your inner awakening to this presence—the inner ruler, the inner father, the inner Son. Practice by turning from outer texts to the felt sense of I AM here. Revise your picture until you feel the Son now, and watch your world respond as your belief becomes reality.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM the Christ within me.' Revise any sense of distance and feel the Son as your present awareness.
