Coming in the Father's Name

John 5:43 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 5 in context

Scripture Focus

43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
John 5:43

Biblical Context

John 5:43 states that Jesus comes in the Father's name and is not received, while a person coming in his own name is welcomed.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the Father’s name as the state of consciousness you wear. When I say I am come in my Father's name, I am confessing that I act from the I AM within, the limitless awareness that does not depend on outward tokens. The crowd rejects this because it seeks names, roles, and external recognition; it would welcome one who speaks in his own name, reinforcing the illusion of separation. Yet the verse is not a history lesson but a mirror: your inner life responds to the name you affirm. If you insist the Father’s name is your living reality, you will see healing, fulfillment, and peace align with your inner assumption. Rehearse the feeling of the Father’s name as your own, and notice the outer signs fall into place when you are aligned with your true Source. The I AM is always present; the practice is to rest in that identification until it becomes your habitual sight. Then you will no longer beg for acceptance from the ego’s crowd, but inhabit the truth that you have always been the Father’s name.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: For five minutes, close your eyes and declare, I am come in my Father’s name, the I AM here now. Feel the quiet authority of the Father within and revise any doubt until it feels real.
