Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse states that nourishment comes from doing the will of the Father and finishing the work one is sent to do. It invites you to see inner purpose as your true sustenance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your 'meat' is not the meal you eat but the inner sustenance that comes from aligning with the will of the Father within. When you recognize the Father as the sent within you, your nourishment arises the moment you choose to obey that inner directive. The 'work' to finish is the ongoing realization of your end-state in consciousness; it is the disciplined act of maintaining the state of the wish fulfilled until it naturally expresses in the world. This verse teaches a fundamental Neville principle: the state you inhabit is your true food, and persistent dwelling in the assumption of already having done the will yields tangible results. Do not seek outside rewards; trust the inner impulse and persevere. The 'I' who wakes to the inner will is the same 'I' that can imagine the end and step into it. Rest in the awareness of an inner sender guiding you, for that vocation becomes your daily bread, sustaining you through faith, perseverance, and trust. The work is therefore a fixed posture of consciousness that harmonizes thought, feeling, and action with inner intent.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the end is already done—your inner will finished. Feel that nourishment, and let the next step arise from the I AM within.
