Leaving Judaea for Galilee
John 4:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Pharisees hear that Jesus is attracting more disciples, so he leaves Judaea and goes to Galilee.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the aware reader, this is not a matter of geography but of states of consciousness. Judaea is the mind clinging to reputation, to the Pharisees’ gaze, a scene built of appearances. The LORD—your I AM awareness—does not defend its work in the arena of public numbers. He moves, not away from truth, but away from a mental climate that equates success with the crowd. Departing for Galilee represents an inner relocation; Galilee is a new current of awareness where disciples are generated by Spirit, not by social validation. The baptismal work remains with the followers, while the master’s energy flows into a broader field. Providence now leads through inward certainty rather than outward demonstration. The lesson is simple: the kingdom grows where you refuse to stay fixed in a position that others notice, and you listen for the inner current that moves you forward. Trust your I AM to guide the next scene, regardless of appearances, and see how the inner move precedes and shapes the outer.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively, assume you are already in Galilee of your mind, led by the I AM; feel the impulse to move beyond appearances and let Providence direct the next step.
