Read John 3 in context

Scripture Focus

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Biblical Context

God loves the world and gives His only Son so that anyone who believes may receive eternal life instead of perishing. The passage invites trust in the divine gift as the path to lasting life.

Neville's Inner Vision

John 3:16 speaks not to you about a far-off event but to the living I AM that you are. God’s love is the inner disposition that says you are precious to Me, and because you are, I give you the expression of My life as a Son inside your consciousness. The gift is not a history lesson but a present assumption you must inhabit. When you believe in Him, you are simply consenting to the fact that you and the Son are one in your own awareness. Belief thus becomes a practical state of consciousness, a feeling-reliving of your oneness with the divine life. The world you see is the scene of your inner movements; when you revise your inner scene to include everlasting life, you reinterpret the outer world accordingly. The move from perishability to permanence is a conversion of mind: from doubt to trust, from projection of lack to rest in the realized presence of life. Let this be lived, not argued, and your life will unfold as gift.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the I AM within you already contains the Son and life eternal; for five minutes, feel this truth as a lived sensation in your chest.
