Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
After they reach land, Jesus invites them to dine with bread and fish, and the disciples recognize him as the Lord. This becomes the third post-resurrection appearance, affirming His presence and their fellowship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold the scene as a parable of consciousness. The fishermen haul great nets of experience to your inner shore, and there is a fire of awareness already burning—a sign that God is near. The bread and fish are not external sustenance but the steady supply of thought and feeling your I AM provides when you align with the risen Presence within. Jesus' invitation, Come and dine, is the moment you stop seeking and let the inner self feed you with recognition: this is the Lord in your own feeling, your own awakened state. The counting of fish—153—symbolizes the varied thoughts and experiences of your former self, yet the net remains unbroken, showing unity of consciousness when you stay centered in I AM. This is the third showing of the risen Christ, not outside you but as the renewed awareness waking in your mind. The scene invites you to trust the inner current and rest in the now, where provision and presence flow together.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, step onto your inner shore, and imagine a warm fire, bread, and fish waiting. Then hear the call to dine, and repeat silently: I am fed by the risen I AM.
