The Inner Gospel Testimony
John 21:24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read John 21 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse identifies a faithful observer who testifies and writes these things. It asserts that we can know the testimony is true.
Neville's Inner Vision
Remember, every verse is a state of consciousness wearing a name. The disciple who testifieth and wrote these things is not someone outside you; he is your own I AM, the awareness that bears witness to what you have imagined and accepted as real. When you read that his testimony is true, you are being invited to trust the inner record you have already authored in the hidden realm of mind. The reality you perceive is the outward effect of an inner conviction. So, revise your sense of self until you feel the testimony as a living fact within you—felt, seen, and unquestioned. Assume the end: you are the author who has written the gospel of your life, and the world is simply echoing that truth back to you. Keep the inner witness steady, and let imagination do the writing. In this way, the disciple’s truth becomes your current experience, not by pleading but by consenting to what your awareness already knew.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: close your eyes and affirm, 'I am the witness and author of my life; this testimony is true.' Then feel the end state as already yours.
