Inner Belief and Knowing

John 2:23-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 2 in context

Scripture Focus

23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
John 2:23-25

Biblical Context

Many believed because of the signs, but Jesus did not commit to them, for he knew the inner nature of all people. The passage shows that outward belief is not the true measure of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the passover scene you see belief born of signs; yet the inner Self, the I AM within you, does not commit to outward testimony. The higher Jesus is not a man looking at men but the awareness that stands behind every event. Neville teaches that belief arising from miracles remains within the realm of sensation; true knowledge comes when you cultivate a state that knows beyond evidence. Do not chase miracles, for this is an invitation to awaken the inner discernment that knows what is in man because it is in you as the I AM. The passage asks you to test where your trust truly resides—in phenomena or in the stable consciousness that remains unshaken by them. Faith faithful to your inner witness renders judgment on nothing outside your mind, and you become the master of your script. By choosing to live from the inner Knowing now, you align with the divine pattern and invite events to reflect your inward state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise your state to the I AM within you. Feel the inner knowing rise and settle as if it is already your lived reality.
