Cana Miracle and Belief

John 2:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 2 in context

Scripture Focus

11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
John 2:11

Biblical Context

In Cana, Jesus performs the first miracle, revealing his glory, and his disciples come to believe in him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Picture the scene as a symbol of your own inner state. The 'beginning of miracles' is the first movement in consciousness when you acknowledge that the I AM—God within you—can display its glory through you. Cana is not a geography but a posture of receptivity in which your senses yield to the new belief. The glory Jesus manifests is the glow of awareness that already knows the truth you seek. When the disciples 'believed on him,' they mirrored the inner faith that arises when you stop doubting and allow the desired state to be present now. The miracle is not a separate event but an awakening of your own inner power to create by assumption. As you entertain the feeling of the fulfilled wish, you align with the One who already knows; your inner witnesses—the feelings, images, and certainties—testify to what you accept as real.

Practice This Now

Assume the state you seek as already yours and feel the inner glory now; close your eyes, affirm 'This is mine now,' and observe a sign revealing your belief.
