Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus is crucified with two others, positioned on either side while He remains in the middle. The scene points to inner states centered in awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
John 19:18 reveals not a historical event only, but an inner theatre where your consciousness enacts a drama of separation. The two others on either side are the two thoughts that argue with you—fear and desire—pressing in from the left and right while the central figure stays still. The one in the middle is your true I AM, the living awareness that cannot be moved by appearances or judgments. In Neville's sense, the crucifixion is the moment a belief in lack and limitation is nailed to the cross by the certainty of consciousness. When you identify with the middle, you do not choose sides; you witness the drama from the timeless center and allow the perception to shift. The outer world conforms as the inner you, the I AM, holds steady in quiet assurance. Thus the cross becomes a doorway: you move from reacting to recognizing that the divine presence is already complete within your mind, and that completion births a new scene without effort.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the I AM centered in your mind. Revise the scene to unity and feel the truth as real in your chest.
