Inner Door of Peter's Trust
John 18:15-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Peter follows Jesus but stays at the door and denies being a disciple when questioned. The scene mirrors an inner moment of fear and separation from the truth within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Peter's following Jesus and the door scene are not history but your inner state. The high priest's palace is the mind's tribunal; the fire of coals is the cold warmth you crave from others when fear keeps you at the door. The other disciple known to the high priest is the inner witness who already dwells in the truth of your unity with Jesus and can guide you through the door. Peter's denial marks a moment to revise, not a final fate. In present sense, you are always the I AM, and you may claim the doorway as a threshold dissolving into the abiding light. The invitation is to assume the truth now: you are one with Christ, you are known to the High Priest, and you stand inside the palace of your mind, where acceptance replaces judgment and fear yields to faith.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner identity that knows the I AM. When fear arises, revise the moment by affirming, 'I am with Jesus now' and feel the inner room fill with light.
