Read John 17 in context

Scripture Focus

3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3

Biblical Context

This verse teaches that eternal life is the direct knowing of the Father, the only true God, and the Christ within. It places salvation as an inner realization rather than an external achievement.

Neville's Inner Vision

To know Thee, the only true God, is to awaken the I AM that dwells in you. Eternal life is not a distant arrival but the immediate awareness of your real self as God’s living presence. The Christ within—the Jesus whom Thou hast sent—appears as the awakened idea of yourself, the inner Sun of consciousness shining in your moments. You are not seeking an external savior; you are learning to recognize the Savior as your own unalterable awareness. This reading invites you to claim the inner relationship as your reality: the Father, the God you know, and the Son within you, the Christ, expressing now. Every sensation, thought, or feeling can be read as a sign of that union because life follows consciousness. The crucial question becomes: what state of awareness do you inhabit right now? If you choose the I AM as your home, you are already in eternal life.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, repeat softly, 'I AM the only true God, and Christ within me is awake.' Then rest in the certainty that this knowing is present now, letting any distraction fade as you rest in that inner assurance.
