Read John 17 in context

Scripture Focus

24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:24

Biblical Context

Jesus longs for those given to him to be with him where he is, to behold his glory. This longing rests on God's timeless love.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the vantage point of the I AM, the verse reveals that the self which knows itself as God’s image desires to be with the I that has expressed Itself as Jesus, here and now. "That they may behold my glory" is not about distant eyes; it is you perceiving your own radiance as you abandon the illusion of separation. The world’s foundation is your timeless consciousness, and the love that loved Jesus before creation is the same love animating you, sustaining you in the flow of awareness. Therefore, the Father’s desire is your present feeling, your revision, your assumption that you stand in union, beholding your glory as a living event. Providence guides you by awakening you to the undeniable truth that you are one with the source you seek, here in the ordinary moment.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume you are already with the Lord in the center of your being. Feel the unity and let that present state rewrite any sense of separation into oneness.
