John 17:21-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 17 in context

Scripture Focus

21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:21-23

Biblical Context

Jesus prays for all believers to be one, mirroring the Father and the Son. This oneness is meant to reveal God's love and presence to the world.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the Father in me and the Son in the Father not as distant persons but as one life circulating within you. The verse declares that they may be one in us - so you, too, may inhabit that unity by making I AM your immediate sense of being. When you dwell in that oneness, the world does not measure you by church or creed but by the glow of inner agreement. The glory given to me I have given them becomes the radiance you carry as you assume the state and feel it real. I in them, and Thou in me, becomes your continual realization: you are not separated from God but one inseparable current. Your task is not to convert others but to align your own consciousness with this truth. Silence the inner chatter, rest in I AM, and let the Father and Son live as one within you. When that inner unity is real, your life becomes the evidence the world may believe this message came from love.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and affirm I AM one with the Father; Thou art in me, and I am in Thee. Feel the inner oneness until it feels as real as breath.
