Sacred Unity Prayer

John 17:20-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 17 in context

Scripture Focus

20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:20-21

Biblical Context

Jesus prays for future believers, not just the current disciples, that they all may be one, as the Father and Son are one. This inner unity becomes the visible sign that invites the world to believe.

Neville's Inner Vision

John 17:20-21 invites you into a consciousness of oneness. The ‘one’ Jesus speaks of is not a mere agreement but a state of awareness in which the I AM of the Father and the I AM within you are identical, and hence all believers share the same reality. You do not obtain unity by changing others or by external programs; you awaken to the truth that you and every believer are already one in the mind of God. When you imagine that you are one with the Father in me and me in thee, you are practicing the very disciplines of salvation: you revise your sense of separation, you assume the completed state, and you feel it real until your inner vision aligns with it. As that inner alignment deepens, the outward world responds, not by coercion but by the natural demonstration that the sender has sent and that the world may believe. Therefore, let your inner connection with the divine become your visible act of unity.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already one with God and all believers; feel that oneness in your heart and let it color your daily acts. Practice this for a few minutes each day, revising any sense of separation until it feels real.
