The I Am: Eternal Life Now
John 17:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
John 17:2-3 speaks that the Son has power to give eternal life to those given to him, and that eternal life is the knowledge of the one true God and Jesus Christ within.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, the words are not about distant events but about the state you inhabit. Eternal life is not a future prize but the living knowledge of the I AM behind every face and circumstance. 'As thou hast given him power over all flesh' speaks to your inner sovereignty over appearances—your assumption that you are not the body ruled by conditions, but the awareness that animates them. The 'as many as thou hast given him' are the inner states you have birthed by imagination and faith. When you truly know 'the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent,' you know the I AM within you and the Christ within you—the two witnesses inside that harmonize as one. This knowing makes life eternal a present tense, a perpetual awakening rather than a distant heaven. Your mind becomes the throne room of God, and circumstances bend to your inner conviction. Rest in the sense that you already are that knowledge, and the outer world will reflect it.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, then assume the feeling 'I am the I AM, knowing the Father and the Christ within me.' Let that knowing flood your chest and imagine outer life aligning to it.
