Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
John 17:18 states that Jesus was sent into the world, and in the same way his followers are sent. The 'world' is the arena of your inner awareness where your mission takes form.
Neville's Inner Vision
John 17:18 reveals that the world is not a distant theater but a field shaped by your state of consciousness. As I have been sent by the Father, so you have been sent from your I AM into the world of appearances. The disciple is your awakened self, and the mission is to let your inner state govern what you meet on the outside. Your care for obedience and faithfulness is not compliance with dogma but fidelity to the state you choose to inhabit each moment. When you acknowledge that you are the sender as well as the sent, you stop fighting phenomena and begin aligning with the truth that awareness is the agent of form. The moment you claim, “I am sent,” your surroundings begin to reflect that inner posture—people, opportunities, and tasks appear as demonstrations of your sovereignty. Your vocation becomes a natural outgrowth of your settled state, not a distant wish but a present reality.
Practice This Now
Choose a state you wish to express (for example, confidence or compassion). Silently declare, 'I am sent into this world with this purpose,' then breathe deeply and feel the I AM fill your chest as your scene rearranges itself around that truth.
