Inner Unity Prayer
John 17:11-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read John 17 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus prays for his disciples, asking the Father to keep them in His name so they may be one, like the Father and Son. He emphasizes that they are in the world but not of it, sanctified by truth and sent into the world with a divine mission.
Neville's Inner Vision
I tell you, John 17:11-19 is a map of consciousness. The Father's name is your central identity—when you rest there, you are kept, and your oneness with God becomes your reality. The world appears, but you do not belong to it; you are sanctified by the truth you hold. Sanctification is not a ceremony but a revision of belief: you replace the sense of separation with the knowing that I and the Father are one. Not of the world means you operate from the I AM while still walking among appearances, and you feel the joy that flows from that alignment. Keep your inner state intact and your outer activity becomes a living witness to that inner law. The world may resist, but your mission remains: you are sent into the world to reveal the truth of unity through your settled consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of unity with the I AM for five minutes, feeling the joy Jesus mentions; revise any doubt by repeating 'thy word is truth' until you feel the world bow to your inner seal.
