Scripture Focus

32Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
John 16:32

Biblical Context

Jesus predicts his disciples will be scattered and leave him, yet he affirms that the Father is with him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the hour of apparent scattering is not a collapse of fellowship but a deciphering of state. The disciples are said to be scattered to their own rooms, yet the I AM—the Father within—remains the undeniable context of all experience. In Neville's terms, the outer scene exposes the inner condition: you think you stand apart, yet you are never apart from the consciousness that you are. When you claim I am the Father within me, you restore unity; loneliness dissolves as you recognize that the Father is with you as your very awareness. The presence of God is not a distant force, but the living sense of I AM that perceives, sustains, and endures through every trial. The suffering and trials you fear become the arena where faith is exercised; endurance arises not from external protection but from an inner decision to dwell in the one state called God. Therefore the hour of scatter becomes a doorway to wholeness, the moment you choose to feel the Father’s companionship as your present reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state I AM with the Father within me as your present reality; feel the companionship steady you through every moment of separation. Do this now, and let the sense of the Father’s presence dissolve loneliness into enduring trust.
