Inner Revelation of All Things

John 16:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 16 in context

Scripture Focus

14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:14-15

Biblical Context

The verses describe the Spirit’s role in elevating Christ by drawing from his fullness and making it known to you. Because the Father’s riches belong to the Son, the Spirit will take from Christ and disclose it to you.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville's voice, this passage states that the Spirit is your own state of consciousness glorifying Christ by drawing from his fullness and presenting it to your awareness. Christ represents the truth of your being—the Father’s possessions are mine, and therefore the Spirit will take from mine and show it unto you—so your life becomes an exhibition of your inner reality. The ‘glorification’ is an inner conversion: when you dwell in the I AM, the inner faculties of perception rearrange your experience so that what you imagine as mine—the divine riches, knowledge, and power—appears as present fact. The Spirit’s activity is not external; it is your capacity to recognize and re-present to yourself the Father’s wealth through Christ. To apply: assume you are already living in the wealth and wisdom of the Father; feel it real now and let the inner showings (insights, opportunities, healings) emerge as if shown to you by your own inner Christ.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit in a quiet place and declare, 'I am the I AM, and all that the Father has is mine.' For five minutes, feel as if your inner Christ is revealing its wealth to you and notice a concrete sign of it appearing in your life today.
