Read John 15 in context

Scripture Focus

26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 15:26

Biblical Context

Jesus declares that a Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, will come from the Father. This Spirit will testify about him.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the Neville vantage, the Comforter is not a distant visitor but the I AM that breathes as your awareness. When the Father sends the Spirit of Truth, he is sending your own consciousness into alignment with the reality you seek: Christ within. The 'testimony' spoken of is the inner conviction that your thoughts and feelings reveal your unity with the divine. As you dwell in the awareness of I AM, the inner voice that testifies of me becomes your constant sense of being one with the Christ. The Father and I are not separate; the Spirit proceeds from the Father and moves through your own mind as a confirming echo: you ARE the proof of the truth you claim. Therefore, rather than chasing signs outside, attend to the inner witness that affirms your state. Your imagination is the channel by which this Spirit speaks, and your current feelings either resonate with this testimony or hide it in doubt. When you revise doubt into oneness, the Comforter is come, and you live in the reality that you are the truth you seek.

Practice This Now

Assume the state now: the Comforter has come and you are one with Christ. Feel the inner testimony as a present-tense reality and let it guide your thoughts this day.
