Persecution And The Inner Sender
John 15:20-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus warns that the servant is not greater than the Master, and if he was persecuted, his followers will be too. The world’s opposition springs from not knowing the Father who sent him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here, the inner reading dares you to hear the word as a state. The Father sent the Son; you are the son or daughter by reflection, and the servant is not greater than the master, so your outer trials are the echo of your inner alignment. When they persecute you, they are not opposing you as a person but the state you have not yet fully embraced—the sender within. They know not him that sent me means the inner Source remains unseen to the many; your neighbors, colleagues, or family are only witnesses to your outward appearance, not to the Reality you embody. In Neville’s fashion, events are expressions of consciousness; to change them, you must revise your assumption and feel it real that you already dwell in the Sender’s temple. If you persist in feeling separate, you invite opposition; if you consciously stand as the sender, love and truth will resonate through your world. So rest in the I AM, presume the end, and let persecution become a signpost pointing you to your true identity.
Practice This Now
Practice: In a moment of challenge, close your eyes and assume the end—that you are already the sender of your experience—and feel the Father within you being recognized. Repeat silently, 'I am the I AM; I am sent by the Father,' until the scene shifts.
