To Neville, 'keep my commandments' signals more than outward rules; it is a decision of inner alignment. The commandment is a law in consciousness, not a set of external do's and don'ts. Abiding in Christ's love means living from that inner state where the Father’s love already resides; your day-to-day events then reflect the steadiness of that presence. The 'I' that knows itself as I AM becomes the judge, not the world. Obedience becomes faithfulness to a living principle: you imagine, believe, and feel from the assumption that you are loved and that love governs your responses. In this sense, commandments are inner nudges guiding you toward loyalty to your divine nature. As you persist, the sense of separation dissolves and you remain in a stable field of love, regardless of appearances. The result is a practical demonstration: your inner state rewrites your outer experiences into more harmonious relations with others and with God.
