John 14:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 14 in context

Scripture Focus

5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:5-6

Biblical Context

Thomas asks how to know the way; Jesus answers that the way, truth, and life are the I AM within, leading to the Father.

Neville's Inner Vision

Thomas asks for a road; Jesus answers that the path is no external itinerary but a present state of consciousness: I AM. The Father is not a far-off destination; He is the I AM that you are now. When you claim the I AM as your own, you step onto the way, and every decision becomes a step toward the Father you already inhabit. The great truth in this dialogue is not a doctrine to be learned but an alignment to be remembered: the life you seek is the life you are, and the truth you seek is the awareness you wear. To know the way is to know the I AM who is always present, guiding you from within, transforming perception, and revealing that separation is only a fear of unrevealed unity. Practice living from the inner I AM, and watch the outer world rearrange to reflect that interior state. You do not follow a road; you awaken to the reality that you are the road, the truth, and the life coming forth from your own consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, and aloud declare, 'I am the way now.' Feel the I AM as your present awareness and revise any sense of distance from the Father until it is obvious you already walk in Him.
