Read John 14 in context

Scripture Focus

12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
John 14:12

Biblical Context

John 14:12 promises that believers in Jesus will do the works He did, and even greater works, because He goes to the Father.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verily, the Jesus you read of is not a distant savior but your own higher I AM, the unconditioned awareness within you. To believe on me is to believe on the power that already manifests as your life. The works I did and the greater works you shall do are not outside of you but inside your consciousness, born when you assume the state of the man or woman you would be. The going unto the Father is the instant recognition that you and the Father are one, that the river of life runs through your own mind. Therefore, the miracles you seek are states of consciousness you dwell in until they take form through imagination, consent, and feeling. When you revise fear with unshakable trust and feel it real as if it already is, your outer world follows the inner pattern. So hold the vision, not as wishful thought, but as the immutable I AM present in you, and know that you are the instrument of Christ's works, here, now, and always.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the state of one who has already performed the desired work; choose a concrete outcome, feel it now, and dwell there for several minutes.
