Inner Peace Through Belief Within

John 14:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 14 in context

Scripture Focus

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:1

Biblical Context

Let not your heart be troubled; you can choose belief in God to anchor your inner life, and the 'me' within is the living Christ who quiets fear.

Neville's Inner Vision

John 14:1 invites you to shift your inner posture rather than chase external cures. The troubled heart dissolves when you recognize that belief in God and belief in me are one act of consciousness. God is the I AM within you, the living Self you can awaken by turning attention from fear to the inner presence. The 'me' is that inner Self, the Christ within, always ready to be leaned upon. When fear arises, you are simply holding a state; you can revise it by replacing the thought with the statement I believe in God and I believe in the I AM within me. Then assume the feeling of that truth until it feels real. Do not seek to prove it in the world first; dwell in the state that would produce the fit conditions. This is the law of consciousness at work: you are not waiting for God to come to you, you are choosing to awaken to God through the I AM within.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, place your hand on your chest, and declare I believe in God and I believe in the I AM within me. Feel the peace as if it is already real, and rest in that inner state.
