Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the Neville lens, this scene is not a future event to be fulfilled by Peter’s flesh, but a revelation of inner states. The question Will you lay down thy life for my sake invites you to examine what you are willing to surrender to your divine purpose in this moment. The warning that the cock shall crow before Peter denies me thrice points to the rhythm of your waking and habitual self—old thoughts, fears, and identifications that spring forth before you consciously choose the I AM. When you hear the cry of denial, know that it arises from a lower state of consciousness, not from the truth of who you really are. The command to lay down life is an invitation to exit the old egoic identity and enter the steadfast I AM presence by which you are sustained. Peter’s failure becomes a map of your own resistance to faith; and yet the invitation remains: assume the state of fidelity to the Christ within, and you will find that the denials dissolve as you dwell in the divine awareness. As you inhabit the I AM here and now, your world begins to reflect that inner fidelity.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of unwavering fidelity to the I AM now. Close your eyes, repeat I am faithful to the truth of who I am, and feel it real in your chest.
