35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 13:35

Biblical Context

Disciples are identified by their love for one another, not by external labels. The inner disposition of love reveals true alignment with Jesus’ teaching.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the sign is not a ceremony but a state of consciousness. When Jesus says, By this shall all men know you are my disciples, if you have love one to another, he speaks of an inner alignment. Love is the aura of your I AM; it is the feeling-tone that your attention rests upon. The world reflects that inner state, and so the proof of discipleship is the steady, compassionate regard you hold for every brethren in your field of awareness. If you would be known by love, assume the feeling of that love now, until it becomes your habitual atmosphere. This is not conquest of others but possession of your own inner kingdom. When you dwell in the radiance that embraces another, you no longer judge but recognize the unity of all life in God. Thus, love becomes the visible sign of your oneness, and your ordinary interactions confirm the truth you have claimed within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: In a quiet moment, assume the feeling of universal love toward a specific person and revise any grievance until your inner climate radiates harmony. Feel it real now, I AM love in action, and watch the outer scene reflect that inner unity.
