Words That Judge Within

John 12:48 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 12 in context

Scripture Focus

48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
John 12:48

Biblical Context

Jesus declares that those who reject his words have a personal judge—the very Word he spoke—who will judge them on the last day.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this verse, the tribunal of judgment is not a distant court but the state of your own consciousness. The I AM within you is both judge and governor of what you accept as true. To reject the Word is to cling to an old self-image, thereby placing your last day under that old ruling. The Word I have spoken is a living law within your imagination, not a historical utterance. When you align with it—assume it as true here and now and feel it as your present reality—you revise the inner condition that would judge you. The last day, therefore, becomes the day you consciously live by the Word, and your outer world comes to reflect that inner acceptance. By receiving the Word, you awaken to a state where judgment is already resolved in your favor, transforming potential future outcomes into a present experience of power and harmony.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the Word spoken as a living vibration within you. Silently affirm, 'I receive the Word; I am the Word in action.' Then revise one limiting belief to harmonize with that Word, and feel the new reality forming in your chest.
