Inner Light Awakening

John 12:46 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 12 in context

Scripture Focus

46I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 12:46

Biblical Context

John 12:46 presents Jesus as a light entering the world to end darkness for those who believe.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the light spoken of is your own I AM being awakened. Jesus appears as the reminder that awareness, not a distant savior, dispels night when you consent to it. Darkness arises when you identify with lack, fear, or limitation; belief on me is a decision to dwell in the light of consciousness. See that you are already illumined; to believe is to revise your sense of self until the inner sight mirrors the truth you choose. The world then follows as a reflection of this inner light, for inner states paint outer scenes. The invitation is simple: assume the state of being light now, and feel the completion of what you seek; your faith is the feeling that the light is here, now, within you. In that moment the darkness dissolves, and salvation becomes your natural experience.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I am the light of the world,' then close your eyes and feel warm radiance filling your chest; stay with the feeling until it overrides any sense of darkness.
