Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus reminds the crowd that the light is brief and the Christ, though heavenly, calls them to walk now; darkness comes when they fail to move with that light. He invites belief in the light to become the children of light.
Neville's Inner Vision
John 12:34-36 speaks to your inner empire. The lifting up of the Son of Man is not a distant event but the rising of your own consciousness; Christ is your awareness, not a person outside you. The little while the light remains with you refers to this present moment of recognition. Therefore, walk while you have the light, and do it now, lest you slip back into the dream of darkness. When you believe in the light, you become the children of light—not by outward adherence, but by identifying with the light as your true self. Your faith is the act of turning your attention inward and choosing to dwell in the reality you already are. This is a practical invitation: revise a current situation in imagination until you feel the light already illuminating it, and carry that feeling into your day. Darkness loses power where the I AM is enthroned, and the world is changed by your inner alignment rather than outer circumstance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I am the light now,' and visualize moving through a space lit by inner dawn; revise a current concern by seeing it transformed and holding the feeling of the light guiding you.
