Glory Through Sacrificial Becoming
John 12:23-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The hour of Jesus' glorification comes through self-sacrifice: dying to the old self so life can multiply; true life is offered to those who serve and follow, and the Father honors their faithful state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the lines you read, the hour is come for the inner Son of Man to be glorified in you. The corn of wheat is your present identity—your familiar self—that must be buried in the ground of your imagination if it is to bear more life. Do not seek glory in the old life; let it die by consenting to a deeper sense of self that does not cling to comfort or approval. When you love your old self, you fear losing it; that fear is the very opposite of life, for life is realized when you let go. Following me means following the inward image of your own nobler state, wherever your feeling leads you. Where I am, there your servant will be; in the quiet spaces of your inner world you discover that the Father honors faithfulness to that inward call. The Kingdom of God is not a distant event but an inner condition that blooms as you align your thoughts with the I AM and act from that divine center.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the die-to-self feeling now—silently declare, 'I let the old self die and follow the inner light.' Visualize a grain sinking into the ground and sprouting abundant fruit, until your sense of self is the life that bears fruit in service and truth.
