John 10:6 shows Jesus speaking a parable, yet the crowd does not grasp its meaning. In the Neville lens, the parable is not an external event but a state of consciousness you inhabit. The ones who misunderstand are not 'others'—they are the beliefs and habits within you that resist the light. When you treat the parable as something to be figured out from without, you stay blind; when you revise your inner state to accept the implied truth, the symbols illuminate your world. The parable becomes a key to wisdom and discernment: question what you think you know, touch the feeling of the answer, and declare the meaning as already yours. Truth and faithfulness are not distant promises but present conditions of awareness. Prophecy and promise unfold as you keep re-choosing the sense of I AM as the source, and thus your life rearranges itself to reflect understanding. You are the reader and the parable; understand them together, and your consciousness awakens to what was always given.
