John 10:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 10 in context

Scripture Focus

16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
John 10:16

Biblical Context

The verse hints at other sheep beyond the immediate fold and the call to bring them to hear the voice, so there is one fold under one shepherd.

Neville's Inner Vision

John 10:16 opens a door into the inner mission of the Self. There are other sheep within you—states of consciousness not yet aligned with your present sense of reality—and they must be brought to hear the voice that you truly are. The fold is not a place outside, but a moment of clear inner agreement where all parts consolidate under one field of awareness. The shepherd is your I AM—the living, watchful presence that recognizes every fragment as an expression of the same Reality. When you hear the Shepherd’s voice, you hear the inward directive that every thought, emotion, and impulse can be harmonized in harmony with your central consciousness. The promise of one fold, and one shepherd, is the inner union where division dissolves into unity, and the universal mission of the Shepherd becomes your daily realized sense of oneness. Trust that every impulse or doubt within you is leading you inward toward a Christ-consciousness that gathers all parts into a single, radiant Self. This is the Kingdom you inhabit by realizing you are already one.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes for five minutes and assume all your inner states are already gathered in one fold under one voice. Revise any sense of separation by boldly declaring I AM the Shepherd of all within me and feel that inner unity radiate through every part of your being.
