Grace for Grace Within

John 1:16-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read John 1 in context

Scripture Focus

16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:16-17

Biblical Context

The verses say that all we receive comes from his fullness, a continuous flow of grace. The old law came by Moses, but grace and truth come through Jesus Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of fullness as your own interior landscape. The law was a tutor for the old state; grace and truth are the new state you awaken into by choosing to identify with the I AM. When you say 'I have received of his fullness, and grace for grace,' you are not quoting a historical decree but declaring your present inner atmosphere. Imagination is the hands that turn the key; by assuming the feeling of fullness, you revise the memory of lack. The phrase 'grace for grace' is the stream that never stops; every thought, every perception is fed by this divine abundance. If you have believed you are bound by law, you are free to step into the Christ within, where truth replaces fear and grace dissolves limitation. Your outer experiences will align as you dwell in the inner state; keep faith with the I AM, and let your inner vision render the outer sign. This is not speculation; it is the natural law you awaken to through inner recognition.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and repeat, 'I am fullness; grace for grace now flows through me.' Feel the sense of abundance in your heart until it feels real today.
