11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
John 1:10-11

Biblical Context

John 1:10-11 shows the Word was present in creation and among his people, yet the world and his own did not recognize or receive him. The passage invites inward work: to awaken to the Word within and claim its living presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

John 1:10-11 lets us see that the Word is the life of creation and yet, for a moment, the outer world remains blind to its origin. The world did not know Him because you have been identifying with the appearance of separation—outer conditions, opinions, lack, all ruling as if they were real. The remedy is inward: assume that the Word is the governing reality of your life right now. When you entertain the conviction I AM the Word in flesh, you revise the sense of distance between you and the divine source. The 'own' who did not receive Him is your own old state of consciousness that denies its origin. By feeling it real that God is present as you, you reorder your inner climate—fear becomes trust, lack becomes abundance, rejection becomes recognition. This is not theology; it is the practical art of consciousness. Do not wait for the world to change; assume the Word is here, and your world must reflect that truth. In this posture, the Word awakens, order returns, and redemption unfolds in your experience.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, center in the chest, and declare I AM the Word in manifestation. Feel the truth as present tense now, then imagine a scene where your relations acknowledge and receive you.
