Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Verse 3:21 promises the cleansing of what has not yet been cleansed and the Lord's dwelling in Zion. It speaks of restoration and holy presence within God's people.
Neville's Inner Vision
Joel's language is not distant geography but the state of consciousness you call Zion. When the Lord dwells in Zion, He is the awareness that you are. The cleansing promised is the clearing of blood-stains—metaphor for patterns of guilt, fear, and memory that you have accepted as real. In the garden of your mind, you must decide that those old stories are past and that your I AM now resides in the holy city of your inner being. As you allow this recognition to rise, you will find that the very 'unwashed' blood of yesterday loses its power to condemn; it is washed away by the light that you are. The outer events will reflect this inner settlement—the peace, the honesty, the integrity of your life—as Zion becomes your dwelling place, not a distant temple. Keep returning to this truth, even when appearances scream otherwise; you are simply choosing the real.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, breathe into the I AM, picture Zion as a radiant city inside you, and declare, 'I am the dwelling of God now.' Feel the cleansing flow through your entire being.
