Inner Restoration and Presence

Joel 2:25-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joel 2 in context

Scripture Focus

25And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
Joel 2:25-27

Biblical Context

Joel 2:25-27 says God will restore what was taken, grant abundance, and make His presence known in the midst of His people. They will not be ashamed.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the locusts as inner deserts—fears, doubts, and the years of drift. In the Neville mode, these are states of consciousness you have allowed to eat your sense of time. The promise is not a calendar reversal but a conversion of your premise: you align with the I AM, the unconditioned awareness within. When you assume abundance and recognize that the Great Army is God’s constant movement within you, restoration appears as a shift of belief. The “years” you thought lost become the fresh now, for you never truly left the presence of God; you merely forgot to feel it. “I am in the midst of Israel” becomes “I am in the midst of my own consciousness,” the One Power that never leaves. So you need not be ashamed: a consciousness that knows God as its I AM radiates a life that disproves lack. Restoration begins in mind, and outward signs follow the inner conviction that you are eternally present with God.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, I am restored now. Then imagine the lost years flowing back into this moment as abundant substance, tasting praise and knowing the Presence within me.
