Restoration Joy for the Land
Joel 2:21-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joel 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage invites you not to fear and to rejoice, for the Lord will bring restoration and abundance to the land. It speaks of rain, fruit, wine, and oil as signs of that generous overhaul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Let the words be read as an inner map: the land and beasts are your states of consciousness; fear and drought are mental weather you can change by turning to the I AM. When you rest in the awareness that you are the living I AM, the promised works awaken within you: the wilderness springs, the trees bear fruit, and abundance flows as though lack never existed. The former rain and the latter rain signify inner seasons of assurance; by nourishing the feeling of fullness—wheat in the floors, wine and oil in the vats—you invite that reality to take form in your life. Zion is your victorious self-identity, not a distant place; God is your awareness responding to your feeling of worth. Do not beg for proofs outside; imagine with persistence and dwell in that mood, and external signs will follow as fruit follows from the root. Your future abundance is the present mood you choose and repeatedly return to in imagination.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your present reality, feel the rains of abundance descending on your inner land, and declare, 'This is mine now,' dwelling there until belief becomes certainty.
