Dawn of Inner Power

Joel 2:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joel 2 in context

Scripture Focus

2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Joel 2:2

Biblical Context

It speaks of a climactic day of darkness and clouds. A great, strong people arises, unmatched in generations.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 2:2 presents not an external doom but an inner revolution. The day of the LORD is the moment your awareness—the I AM—awakens to itself. Darkness and gloom are the dissolving of old identifications; the morning spreading over the mountains is the genuine Dawn of consciousness, rolling across the peaks of your mind. The great people and a strong are the integrated powers within you—imagination, faith, will, and perception—now united under the I AM. When this inner dawn arrives, it endures as a new order of being, not a transient mood, and its effect can echo through generations of your inner life. You are not awaiting power from outside; you are becoming the very power by which your world is formed. The awakening is your rightful sovereignty—a state you enter by assuming it, feeling it, and thereby making it real in your daily life.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM now; feel the dawn spreading across your inner mountains and revise any sense of lack until you know you are the light that creates reality.
